  • Think U Know: #AskTheAwkward (KS3/4)

    Think U Know have recently released new resources for parents and carers of secondary-aged children.

    This series of materials is entitled #AskTheAwkward:  https://www.thinkuknow.co.uk/parents/ask-the-awkward/

    #AskTheAwkward aims to help parents and carers have regular conversations with their children about online relationships and more.

    The resource includes three short films created in a social experiment style, with real parents and their children to capture their reactions to a range of questions and nine help sheets give essential information on key topics.

  • Children in Need and Macmillan Day

    As a whole school, we will be supporting the charities Children in Need and Macmillan on Friday 19th November. Pupils may wear their own clothes if they donate £1. There will also be a cake sale on the day. All money raised will be divided between the two charities.

  • Raffle - for the local emergency service and the children's ward​​​​​​​

    Hello, my name is Miss Thomas, and I am a TA at Elms School. Over the past few weeks and months, I have been collecting donations and raffle prizes for the local emergency service and the children's ward. I am holding a raffle on 6th December to raise money to buy some more presents for the children's ward and would like to invite you to purchase raffle tickets for the prizes below:

    £20 voucher for regal nails

    One-hour football pitch hire

    £10 canoe voucher

    Two smash chocolates filled with sweets 

    If you would like to purchase raffle tickets they are £2 per strip or 3 strips for £5. Money can be sent into the school office via transport to purchase your tickets.

  • Your child’s COVID-19 vaccination is now due

    All children aged 12 to15 years are now being offered the COVID-19 vaccination. This will take place on Thursday 2nd December at Elms School.

    Do you have a child in Year R-6. The Immunisation team will be in school  on (09/11/2021) to give the FLU vaccinations. The online consent portal is available online at  https://childconsent.co.uk/kchft/consent/search

    Don’t forget to record your consent or refusal for your child’s FLU vaccination before midnight on (04/11/2021). Please use your child’s NHS number or legal surname/date of birth/post code to access the form.
